Spring brings a lot of fun and different holidays.  The next one coming up is Easter!  I thought it might be fun to provide a couple of ideas of what you can do for Easter decorations.  Cheap crafts are one good way to enjoy the holidays, while still staying within your budget.  There are a lot of ways to have fun activities and beautiful Easter decorations without spending a lot of money.

I know…Martha gets to be the spokeswoman here.  These are hollow eggs that you make into a wreath.  To hollow out the eggs, pierce one end of a raw egg with a pin.  Pierce the other end and use the pin to enlarge the hole slightly and break the yolk.  Then empty it into a bowl.

These easter eggs have been hard boiled, and then embellished with ribbon and trimmings.  You can paint or dye them however you like and even include a ribbon at one end to hang it.

Spruce up your candy dishes by making them look like a fuzzy birds’ nest!  You can wrap string and feathers around the bowl to give it the “nesty” look.

A tulip egg basket is the perfect centerpiece for you Easter dinner table!

Again, these are just a couple of ideas that can help your holiday season be a little more cheery and a lot less expensive!
