Back to Basics

Coupon clipping. Most of us cringe at the thought. Some relish in the idea, praying that some day it will make it to a level of Olympic competition. Either way you view it, coupons do cut costs when used correctly.

One way to get around the headache of the often-dreaded pastime is using online coupon sites. Some worth checking out are  slickdeals.net, madaboutsavings.com, befrugal.com, 918couponqueen.com, retailmenot.com (coupons for online shopping).

Some make a social network out of coupon finding: befriending other coupon clippers, sharing favorite coupons, and grouping similar coupons. Most sites make your coupon searches relevant, finding local coupons for you in your area.

These sites, especially those directed specifically at online shopping, are brimming with coupons for free shipping, buy one- get one deals, and so much % off your purchase of whatever.

With Christmas shopping on your mind (especially to get things shipped, wrapped, and ready for the end of next month), these sites may well become a close friend, saving you up to hundreds on your Christmas buying this season.

The goal:  to make coupon finding easier and more fun- more bearable than a coupon-clipping slumber party, but similar in nature.
