I think the whole thing with not being allowed to bring water on airplanes is ridiculous but I guess that is because I do not know too much about liquid explosives. All I do know is that I cannot carry-on my shampoo nor my lotion.

I went to a football game last year and they too did not allow us to bring water bottles into the stadium. I was disappointed because I knew while standing out in the afternoon sun I would become thirsty and would want to buy a water. Well bottles of water in these places cost two to three dollars, and on top of that bottled water has less restrictions on it that tap water meaning it in some cases can be worse for you.
